Special Congratulations to the LAFC Special Olympics B Team!
The LAFC Special Olympics B team won the Gold Medal the weekend of October 28-29 at the Southern California Fall Games at Cal State Fullerton! And—congratulations to the LAFC D or bronze level team which took fourth place in their bracket!
Last year these two teams played as one and earned the Gold Medal in the C division. This year both were challenged to be competitive in separate divisions.
Having moved up a division this year, the B team’s goal was to stay with their opponents. They surprised everyone by not only making a good show, but by playing hard in all five games and winning the Fall games, the largest SO event for fall soccer in Southern California.
