Amazing! The boys Premier B16 and B17 teams took Florida by storm
and won their way into the finals of the United Soccer League’s (USL)
Super Y-League North American Finals November 17-21!
LAFC B17 went to the finals in the B16 division after posting four victories in a row starting November 17: 2-0 over Ottawa Fury; 2-1 over Ironbound SC; 3-0 over HC United; and a semi-final win over the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0. That’s three shut-outs and only one goal allowed on their way to Tuesday’s championship game!
Tuesday morning’s championship saw Coach Josh Henderson’s boys going against Schulz Academy.
LAFC B16 launched themselves into the championship game after scoring a total of 14 goals in four games, including opening the tournament with a 7-0 rout of BW Rhode Island. They gave up one loss, 1-2 to Reading Rage in the only goals scored against them in tournament play.
The championship pitted Coach Rafa Moran’s squad against Chicago Magic.
