Week 6 - October 16 - 17, 2010
	LAFC Cosmos Boys Name: Malik Marshall Team: BU14 East Accolades: Malik played a stellar game in the back against 2nd place Santa Barbara holding them to only one goal.  The game was tied 1-1 with 15 minutes left in the 2nd half, when Malik unleashed a bullet off a set piece that went into the upper corner giving his team the 2-1 victory.  The team is now 10pts clear in 1st and looking to bring home the league title this weekend. Congratulations to Malik and all of his teammates in helping him earn this award.
	LAFC Cosmos Girls Name: Fatima Maaz Team: GU15 Black Accolades: Fatima controlled the midfield for her team. Her work rate was incredible along with her positional sense. She won every tackle she went in for and her attitude was fantastic. Never once did she argue a decision. If it did not go her way she would get up, brush herself off and continue to fight for LAFC. She was excellent in possession and often found the right pass. Her performance was immense in every area. Congratulations to Fatima and all of her teammates in helping her earn this award.
	LAFC Cosmos Boys - Youngers Name: Luke Mello Team: BU13 East Accolades: Luke has been a great help and positive influence to his team throughout the season. He is very consistent in games and practice, works hard, a good sport, great defender who can also help create opportunities for his team going forward on the wing. He never gives up and is fearless. This weekend Luke helped hi team to a shutout victory over South Bay by shutting down the opposing team numerous times at key moments of the game. Congratulations to Luke and all of his teammates in helping him earn this award.
	LAFC Cosmos Girls - Youngers Name: Devon Jack Team: LAFC GU13 Gold Accolades: "Scoop" has been instrumental playing in midfield. Devon’s work rate and soccer I.Q. are a great asset to the midfield where she mirrors her "soccer twin" Lauren Savo. The midfield duo is very successful in recovering the ball and restarting the offensive. Devon’s Sunday performance was enhanced by a 2nd half goal to beat the Slammers and propel the team to 2nd place in the Gold bracket. Congratulations to Devon and all of her teammates in helping her earn this award.
