Under the direction of Coach Felipe Rodriguez, LAFC GU-15 won the Silver Elite North bracket this season with an undefeated record of 8-0-3. The girls are the only undefeated team in all of the Silver Elite brackets and are poised to become LAFC's first girls' Premiere team. Despite injuries, the girls clinched the Championship on Saturday, November 17 by beating Force SC at LCHS. After being down 2-1 with only 15 minutes to play, the girls took control of the game and scored 2 goals to take the lead 3-2. Key saves in the final minutes by goalie Jessie Garcia sealed the win and the celebrations began. When asked about the victory after the game, TA Rick McDonald said, "We are very proud of Felipe and the girls and what has been accomplished this season. This was the year we wanted the girls to take responsibility for what happens on the field and they did. We are very proud of them, and the fact that we have now won our bracket three years in a row shows everyone what a great coach Felipe is and what a great group of players and parents we have."
